PROJECT SPOTLIGHT - Maui, HI

National Solar Observatory (NSO)

JCH partnered with Griswold, a manufacturer of centrifugal ANSI pumps, to play a critical role in constructing the Daniel K. Inouye Solar Telescope on the Haleakala volcano summit in Maui, HI. Our involvement in the project, engineered in Tucson, AZ, required more than a decade of work consisting of equipment selection and engineering design support. The project wrapped up in 2016 with onsite equipment training and startup.
